Oldest Furnace Contest Official Rules

Eligibility: The Oldest Furnace Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of Barrie, Canada, and surroundings who are at least 18 years old and own a home in the area that is still heated by a Furnace installed in 2004 or earlier. Employees of Custom Comfort Systems Inc. and their immediate families are not eligible. The Contest is subject to applicable Federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
How to Enter: To enter the Contest, complete the online entry form in full at [https://quote.customcomfort.ca/oldestfurnace/] and provide details on your Furnace unit including brand, model, and approximate installation date. All entries must be received by 02/29/2024 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per household. Any attempt to obtain additional entries by using multiple email addresses or otherwise will void all entries from that household.
Judging and Notification: Finalists will be selected based on Furnace unit details provided. Finalists will be notified by phone and/or email and will be required to allow an in-home inspection by Custom Comfort System Inc.’s technicians to verify the Furnace uit’s age. The entrant with the oldest Furnace unit still in working order, as determined by Custom Comfort Systems Inc’s technicians, will be declared the winner. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email by 03/15/2024.
Prize: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is defined as a complete replacement of the winner's existing Furnace equipment with new, modern Furnace equipment. No cash or other substitution is allowed except by Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The Grand Prize is non-transferable. Winner is responsible for all federal, provincial, and local taxes associated with prize receipt and/or use. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Social Media and Promotional Consent: By entering the Oldest Furnace Contest, the winner explicitly agrees to participate in promotional activities, including but not limited to being featured in social media posts, photographs, and videos related to the Contest, without any further compensation. The winner grants Custom Comfort Systems Inc. the right to use their name, image, likeness, and Furnace unit details for promotional and marketing purposes, both during and after the Contest period.
General Conditions: By entering, each entrant agrees to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or the Contest itself, and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final in all matters related to the Contest. By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner agrees to release Sponsor and its agencies from any and all liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this Contest or from the acceptance, possession or use of the Grand Prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of the prize.
Winner’s List: To obtain a copy of the winner’s name, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Custom Comfort ClimateCare – Heating & Air Conditioning by March 15, 2024 with your request included.
